Gamespot review of the game is pretty.. modest, to say the least Gamespot's reviews sometimes stink! Boo them! I dunno a game called "Paper Mario" obviously tells me "graphics stink!" and doesnt catch my eye. lol. |

Lil history... Super Mario RPG for the SNES is my single favorite RPG of all time. Incredible music, graphics, gameplay, everything. To give you a clue as to how obsessed I was with it, at age 7, I almost spent several years worth of saving (about $60) to buy the game. Parents talked me out of it several times, so I eventually got it off ebay for about $20. Game is simply incredible. Paper Mario 64, which was originally to be called SMRPG2, came out for the N64 later, and while it was decent, didn't even come close to the original SMRPG. The characters in SMRPG were insanely awesome, and the ones in Paper Mario were just goombas and junk. Anyways, I wanna try out the newest one, which is supposed to be really good, just because of the history of the game. SMRPG ties with Tribes for my favorite game of all time.. which is saying a crapload of a lot!

And..you think this is news to me? I love mario..heck I even got a mario action figure right next to me. I just havnt tryed Paper Mario. I dunno...why..
