Cows,Tsuran, and I are keeping the tradition of playing Dun&Dar in college. In this thread, I'll keep the plot updated as to what has been happening during the game sessions.
Here's everyone's characters in the group:
Cows: Vixen, the sexy nurse (equivalent of a generic priest, but also with extra Charmness and medium hotness resistance)
Tsuran: Phil, the pirate kitten (wields a cutlass and has a wrecked ship)
Me: Dargón Meister and Arzel Blatimus, the cat girl taco fanatic (this time Arzel's a generic wizard, but she still gets to keep some of her Knight of the Taco abilities such as taco summoning)

Session 1:
The characters meet each other on a volcanic island. Arzel was on the island to try to convert the indegenous tribes to taco-ism, Phil was there because he wrecked his ship on the shore, and Vixen was there to try to find something hotter than she is.
After exploring not very far, the group comes to a village of indegenous tiki men doing some kind of ritual dance around a bowling ball idol surrounded by coconuts. The tribe notices them and start saying a bunch of giberish in Tiki language. They bind the party to long wooden poles and begin carrying them up the volcano to be sacrificed to the volcano god.
On the way up, however, Arzel wriggles loose of her bindings and start kicking Tiki butt. However, the Tikis begin to outnumber her pretty quickly. Suddenly, grinding rats come riding their skateboard down the mountain. Vixen and Phil get loose just when the grinding rats start attacking the Tikis. The party fights off the grinding rats when Cows takes my entire dice bag and "rolls for damage" on Arzel's turn. I decided to go along with it and make Arzel cast Ultima.
Session 2:
The Tikimen are grateful for the party saving them. The head shaman comes out and offers them a feast in their honor. Vixen slaps the head shaman for letting the tribe try to sacrifice them. The shaman isn't very upset though because he deserved it.
At the feast, the head shaman (I guess his name is Big Tikitomba or something) tells them that they are hostile to outsiders because of their recent shortage in coconuts. Normally the tribe recieves funding by selling coconut martinis and coconut bikini-tops to tourists. However, since 2 moons ago a monster called the "Goat Sucker" has been raiding the tribes supply of coconuts every night. The party offers to put an end to the tiki raids.
They consult the village beast master who is blind most of the time because he has a habit of wearing cucumbers on his eyes that nobody ever notices. He tells them about the Goat Sucker and tells the party to meet him at 6:30 that night.
They meet the beast master at the edge of an open field with a goat in the middle and wait for a couple hours. Then he points out into the field at the Goat Sucker. Only the goat is in the field. The party then figures that the Goat Sucker is the goat(albeit a goat with a vampire cloak, demon wings, and about half a foot taller in height). Monty Python references ensue, but Tsuran doesn't quite catch on. He decides to go attack the goat. Then, the goat flies at him and bites him on the tail.
Phil tries to attack the goat sucker while he's flinging him around like a chew toy. The Goat Sucker tells him that the proper way to kill a vampire is to drive a stake through its heart. He gives Phil a steak and Phil falls for it. However, he hit really hard with the steak and dealt some incredible damage(he rolled a critical). The rest of the time Arzel and Vixen were blasting fireballs and smites at the goat sucker respectively. Eventually the Goat Sucker became weak. He jumped behind a bush, grabbed a bag full of coconuts and ran.
The party ran after him and found a volcano temple. They went inside. Down a corridor they found a secret staircase protected by a flaming death ID card security system trap. They survived the trap and got into the the stairs. They came to a break room for some coorporation. Inside there were a bunch of apathetic lizardmen guards and sweatshop workers planning to go on strike making many references to the "proletariat overthrowing the bourgeiouse" because of poor wages. Phil bluffed about more unfair working conditions about the place and gained aproval from the workers.
The workers stampeded out the door, forcing Arzel and Vixen to run (since they were still outside the breakroom), and Phil had to jump onto the head of one lizard man to avoid getting trampled. They stampeded through the temple until they reached an open volcanic area with a broken marble bridge leading to an elevator labeled "Evil Coconut Candy Bar Co." Because the bridge was broken, the lizard men jumped into the lava and swam across to the elevator(they were lava proof).
Arzel, who was running from them, got pushed into the lava and died instantly. Her ghost began following the party until they get her to a Tiki shaman to get resed. Vixen got trampled earlier on (but survived) and wasn't pushed in. Phil, who was on the head of a lizard man, fell in the lava for a short period of time until the lizard man's head came out of the lava. He took quite a bit of damage, but not enough to die. He made it to the elevator with just 1 HP left.

yes, Arzel = win. ;D You'll have to ask Cows how he feels about his character though. continuing with the plot: Session 3: Phil and Vixen are now on opposite sides of the broken bridge. Vixen notices that a column on her side of the bridge is cracked a bit and can probably be knocked over to connect the bridge halves. She kicks the column, but it's still fairly hard and stubs her toe. Phil holds down and manages to somehow recover half his HP. Eventually Phil finds some ledges along the side of the volcano wall. He jumps from ledge to ledge until he gets back to Vixen. They then backtrack through the temple. the only obstacle is a room whose floor is covered in hot coals. Vixen walks across harmlessly since the coals aren't quite as hot as her, and she carries Phil across. However, she also contemplates dropping Phil down onto the coals for fun. Back at the village, Arzel gets rezed and the party tells the head shaman (Big Tikitomba) about the goat sucker, the temple, and the elevator to some kind of coconut chocolate bar factory. Big Tikitomba asks them to go and put an end to the factory and to recover the tribe's coconut supply. The party gets patched up, hires a bunch of tikis to help knock over the cracked column on the broken bridge, and they head back to the temple. They pass through the hot coal room of the temple again. Arzel gets through by casting hall pass. The tiki shamen the party hired get through without any problems. Tikis can walk barefoot on hot coals without taking damage. The tikimen hurl explosive spells at the cracked column. It falls over onto the other side of the bridge, creating a walkway for the party to cross. The party dismisses the shamen and head for the elevator doors. They quickly discover though that the elevator requires an ID card for them to use it. Arzel tries to magically hack the system, but she fails. She only pulled out a +10 flaming battle axe, hacked away at the card reader, and broke the axe. It didn't leave a scratch on the card reader. Phil recalls that one of the apathetic lizardmen dropped their ID card just outside the secret stairway to the temple breakroom. Vixen goes back and finds it. Then she returns, hands the ID card (the card belongs to a lizardman guard named Timmy) to Phil. Phil swipes the card in the card reader and the elevator allows them in. The party presses the down button to go to the factory. When the elevator doors open, the party finds themself in a long hallway with doors to the left leading into a factory room, doors to the right leading into an office, a door along the right side of the hallway further down, and the hallway turns to the right at the end. The party hears the shouting of disgruntled lizardmen coming from the factory doors. The party goes through the double doors on the left leading into the factory. They find themselves in the ingredient mixing room. There is mixing machinery, large steel vats, conveyor belts, and boxes full of supplies all over the place, but no lizard men. They still hear the shouting but can't discern its location since the room echoes too much. Arzel, however, spots the lizard men on an upper platform encased in a plexiglass barrier. They appear to be on strike outside a room on the upper platform area. There is also a plexiglass tunnel overhead connecting the plexiglass-encased platform area to some other room in the factory. Tsuran has to leave for a minute to get something to eat. So his character becomes inactive. Meanwhile, Arzel and Vixen head through a door at the far right end of the mixing room (to the far right as you enter the mixing room). Phil is left behind. They enter a short hallway with a large airlocked door leading into a large volcanic area. Through the airlock door's windows, Arzel and Vixen can see large colorful machines with little girls working at them. They enter into the area and feel the wave of volcanic heat as they enter. The little girls look up from their work and invite Vixen (they don't notice Arzel for some reason) to bake coconut candy bars with them in their ginormous E Z Cook Ovens. Vixen works for what seems like hours before realizing that she's working a 20-hour shift with one 5-minute break at minimum wage. She stops and asks the little girls where the boss of the factory is. They show her a map of the factory and point out where the CEO's room is. It turns out that it is the room that the lizard men were going on strike outside in the plexiglass-enclosed platform area. Vixen thanks them and begins to leave with Arzel, but the little girls don't want them to leave. They want Vixen and Arzel to stay and bake more candy bars with them. Vixen ignores them and heads toward the doors to the packaging room with Arzel. The little girls then block the exit and encircle them. They draw ferocious-looking spatulas pointed in Vixen's direction. Having no other choice, Vixen plows her way through the barricade of little girls toward the packaging room door. Arzel follows. She knocks them over like bowling pins, and the little girls behind Arzel and Vixen begin hurling mashed potatoes spells at them. Arzel and Vixen manage to get out and lock the airlock door behind them, but take quite a beating from the mashed potatoes. They find themselves in the packaging and trucking room. The room is filled with boxes full of candy bars all over the place. Arzel and Vixen make their way through the maze to get to a door on the other end of the room leading to the CEO's office. Along the way, though, they bumb into a large stack of boxes and cause a few of the boxes to fall. Large clumps of amorphous chocolate tumble out of the boxes. The clumps separate into 4 ferocious-looking chocolate blobs and engage the party in combat. Arzel goes first and hurls a fireball where all the blobs are clumped together. They all take 15 damage. Vixen takes her turn and summons a bunny-shaped cloud. She commands it to attack the chocolate blobs. It charges at them but accidentally trips in midair. One of the rear blobs tries to go attack Vixen but trips on the bunny-shaped cloud and falls on its iron scepter. The blob dies. Then another blob goes and attacks Vixen. Because Vixen forgot to heal her and Arzel after getting pummeled by mashed potatoes, the blob's bite kills her. Then the 3rd blob goes and bites Arzel's ankle. The pain is enough to kill Arzel. Meanwhile, Tsuran comes back into the room and resumes control of Phil. He heads into the E Z Cook room and sneaks past the little girls (I'm surprised Tsuran didn't display interest in that part) and makes his way through the maze of boxes in the packaging room. He finds Arzel and Vixen's corpses with their ghosts hovering above them. He also sees a large chocolate puddle on the floor with bits of coconut mixed in (the remains of the blob that got killed by tripping on the bunny-shaped cloud) and the boxes that the blobs came out of. He sneaks around to find what killed Arzel and Vixen. He finds the 3 remaining blobs asleep in the cardboard boxes. He dispatches them quickly and stealthily. Phil notices a truck pull in to pick up some boxes of coconut candy bars. He peers into the back of the truck and sees a box full of red feathers....PHOENIX DOWNS!!! He sneaks past the eyes of the trucker and the apathetic lizard men in the room that aren't on strike. He grabs 3 phoenix downs and uses 2 to revive Arzel and Vixen.

Session 4: (Cows didn't show up for this game because of Soccer =P)
Arzel and Vixen are brought back to life. The trucker in the packaging/trucking area finds someone hiding in the back of his truck, the stow-away is thrown out violently and crashlands in a lump of boxes nearby the party. The stow-away is Sshoobedabooy the jolly bard!
new character: Sshoobedabooy, lawn gnome jolly bard (played by Corey Greene)
The party continues and gets to the stairwell leading to the CEO's room. Outside the CEO room, the party encounters a thick crowd of apathetic lizardmen going on strike. The party tries to get to the door a number of times, but is impeded/trampled on by the crowd whenever they tried to. Arzel finally notices an airduct leading directly into the CEO's room. She lifts Phil up into it for him to scout out the room.
Phil peers through a grate in the air duct in the CEO room. He sees the Goatsucker and a tall, broad-shouldered, cloaked masked figure talking to eachother. The masked figure complains to the Goatsucker about the lizardman employees going on strike. Obviously the masked dude is the CEO. The Goatsucker isn't sure why, but offers to use violent persuasive measures to appease them. The CEO begins a monologue about his backstory.
The CEO, whose actual name is Ikki Motem, is the brother of the Tiki village Chief, Big Tiki Tomba. Since he was a child, he always dreamed of becoming a dentist. However, since none of the other Tiki natives of the island believed in dental care, he felt shunned from society. He went to college and got a PhD in dentistry, and eventually decided to get revenge upon his Tribe for making him feel outcasted. He started this coconut chocolate bar factory to make children all over the world get addicted to his candy so they would all get cavities! Then he would start a dentistry empire where everyone in the world would have to pay him to fix their toothaches and such. Then the people would eat more of his candy bars and the process would continue! Meanwhile, his tribe would become so poor from not being able to sell coconut tourism products that they would be forced to hire themselves to Disney World!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!! OVERLORD! OVERLORD!! OVERLORD!!!!
Phil went back and told the party what he saw and heard. While in the airducts he noticed a door from the meeting room leading into the CEO room. So the party went into the meeting room and got into the CEO room.
The Goatsucker and CEO were surprised to see the party. The Goatsucker, who feared getting his butt kicked again, ran away by turning into a flying mist. The CEO turned to the party and said "Ah, so we have company! You're just in time to taste-test my newest creation. I call it PAIN!!" At this point, Phil decided to kick the CEO in the face. He decapitates him. However, it turns out that the CEO's head is just a short little Tiki man in a labcoat. The body shrugs and its cloak falls off. The body is revealed to be...the ChocoTitan!!! (a big golem thing made out of coconut chocolate.
Suddenly, a hatchling dargon crashes through the ceiling and joins the party.
new character: Crucio, a feathery dargon hatchling (played by Scott Lucas) Arzel just calls him Cutey though.
Summary of the fight:
The ChocoTitan barfs melty coconut chocolate all over Cutey a few times, Phil does some damage but is eventually smashed against a wall (at this point Tsuran gets upset and leaves the game because the soda machine's drinks aren't cold), Arzel shrinks and melts the ChocoTitan, Sshoobedabooy grants the party combat bonuses by playing his lute, Arzel runs out of ME and pounces the ChocoTitan's face, claws it up and bites a large chunk out of it (it was delicious!), Cutey uses firebreath to melt the Chocotitan more, eventually the party wins.
Everyone gains a level!!!

Session 5: Cows actually attends this one, but Tsuran gets upset and leaves half-way through because Cows wouldn't let him be distracted by an online game.
As the defeated ChocoTitan melts into a large puddle of coconutty-chocolate ooze, the CEO regains consciousness and views the wreckage. Apethetic lizardmen start pouring into the room from a hole that the ChocoTitan punched in the wall. They notice the CEO and begin to go on strike against him.
Suddenly the volcano starts rumbling and factory alarms start going off! The roudyness of the lizardmen going on strike seems to have awakened the semi-dormant volcano! The CEO insults the party then runs for a door in the corner of the CEO room labeled "Escape Pod Room". The party and some apathetic lizardmen follow him. They go through a long hallway and arrive in a large circular room. The CEO buckles himself into an escape rocket and laughs like an evil villain genious person as the rocket blasts off and then crashlands not too far away somewhere else on the same island.
The party begins scrambling to escape in one of the escape pods. Phil opens one up and finds a grizzly bear already inside as he begins to buckle himself in. The grizzly bear lunges out onto Phil in the middle of the room and mauls him. The party has trouble getting into one of the 125 pods in the room because all the factory's workers are beating them to them. There is one more empty escape pod left. Phil nabs it! However, a rather large and fat apathetic lizardman doesn't notice that Phil is occupying it. The lizard man sits on Phil and straps himself in. He grizzly bear stows away on the same rocket.
Most of the rockets go to the CEO's secret base in Alaska. However, because of the combined weight of Phil, the fat apathetic lizardman, and the grizzly bear, their rocket doesn't go far at all and lands safely in the middle of the Tiki village. Phil gets out and finds the CEO (kinda burnt and bruised up, but still alive) and his crashed rocket nearby.
The rest of the party (Arzel, Vixen, Sshoobedabooey, and Cutey) are trapped inside the factory in the volcano. It takes them a while to figure out that they're suppose to try to escape from the place as a hole bursts open in the side of the room and lava starts flowing in. Arzel gets the party motivated by running toward the hall outside the CEO room.
They get to the plexiglass bridgeway (looks kinda like a tube thing with a wide metallic floor inside) overlooking the mixing room of the factory and a large crossbeam falls from the ceiling. The plexiglass bridge is smashed in half with the half opposite from them slanting down into the lava (which is now covering the floor of the mixing room. Sshoobedabooy crosses over into the other half of the bridge by doing a Cave Story machine gun trick with his laser lute spell (but it depletes half his ME). Cutey just flies across.
Arzel and Vixen jump down onto a conveyor belt. Arzel then jumps onto a big tank the conveyor belt leads to while Vixen jumps onto a ladder on the tank's side and pulls herself up. Vixen jumps across onto the top of the other half of the plexiglass bridge. Arzel jumps, but slips upon landing. She almost falls into the lava, but Vixen quickly grabs her hand and violently swings her into the side of the bridgeway, shattering a hole in its side. Arzel then uses the force of the swing to violently pull Vixen in as well.
The party continues and gets into the part of the bridge overlooking the hallway to the elevator. A crossbeam has conveniently fallen so there is a hole in the side of the plexiglass bridgeway. The party moves down the crossbeam and makes their way across objects floating in the lava to get to the elevator. Sshoobedabooy presses the up button. The elevator arrives at their floor but has trouble opening because the foot of lava in the room has partly welded the elevator door shut.
The party then takes forever trying to figure out how to open it (although I suggested for Vixen do the cartoon leg trick of sticking her leg through the crack in the doorway to pry it open. Unfortunately Cows hasn't ever seen this trick used on looney tunes and has no idea what I was talking about). Eventually the door opens because there is an apethetic lizardman inside who is late for work. He seems surprised the the whole place is covered in a foot of lava and decides to go home and take the day off. He lets the party into the elevator. Halfway up to the surface inside the hidden temple, the elevator crashes on something and stops.
Sshoobedabooey busts open the latch on the elevator's top and feels the heat of lava coming up from above. The rest of the party also gets up ontop. Sshoobedabooey tries to climb up the elevator cable to get to the temple door (which is about 100ft up) but the grease on it makes it too slippery for him to climb. He then tries his Cave Story laser lute trick again, this time with less success. He critical fails his roll (69). He blasts the party underneath him and is flipped upside down about 30 ft up. He slams face-first into the ground. Arzel soon uncovers a sign that says "In case of fire, use stairs" There is a stairs button underneath it. Cutey presses the button and a stairway appears in the shaft wall. He takes the button. The party exits through the stairs and arrives just outside the entrance to the hidden temple. The volcano is still erupting behind them.
The party gets to the Tiki village where all the Tiki people are crying out in panic. The meet up with Phil and Big Tiki Tomba. The party hands the Ikki Motem (the CEO) over to Big Tiki Tomba and the party is healed (at a price since the party didn't recover the stolen coconuts). The erupting volcano threatens to destroy the Tiki village. Big Tiki Tomba says that there is only one way that they can save it: they must turn off the volcano. He tells the party about the OTHER hidden temple on the island. Within it are annoying, terrible, and ancient monsters from the underworld, traps, lava, and the power switch to turn off the volcano. He tells the party that the entrance to the OTHER hidden temple is through a big hole in the floor of a run-down old shack about 50 yards from the village.
The party finds the shack quite easilly and goes inside. There is a big hole in the middle of the floor leading into the temple below and there is a nightstand with a boombox/clock radio combo on it. Vixen seduces Phil into retrieving the boombox and giving it to her (in a totally G-rated way, lol). Tsuran gets upset from Cows and leaves the session at about this time. The party goes down into the hole.
A message appears on the display of the boombox: "The counter has moved... A black wind flows through you, but your weapons aren't reduced to level 0." The clock on the boombox begins timing them. Vixen provides light by casting a shinytize spell on her staff. The party is on a ledge overlooking a hall with a spiked floor with a 10x10 platform half-way through the short hall. It is about 15 ft away and 10 feet down from the ledge of the room the party is standing in. The party gets across and jumps across another set of spiked floor into a hole in the spiked floor.
They land in a long room that has a half-circle-shaped wall at the other end. Two boulder warriors (earth elemental, rock with eyes, a pair of arms, and a broadsword) and two newts (fire elementals, they look like flaming, horned snake creatures with arms and a spear) guard passage through this room. A boulder warrior attacks Arzel but misses, then Sshoobedabooey uses a charm music spell on the group of enemies. All of them except the boulder warrior that attacked Arzel become the party's friends. But one of the newts bashes that boulder warrior, apologizes for its rudeness, and tells it to show some manners. The party climbs down/jumps down a hole lined with spikes in its walls in the far-end floor of the room.
The party comes into a hallway that turns to the left at the end. Cutey is at the front of the party. The party proceeds through the hall but stops when Cutey gets blasted by firetraps(fortunately he's immune to fire). They get the newts to go forward and press the panel at the end of the hall to turn off the trap. The flamethrowers in the walls stop and the party proceeds.
They turn the corner and get to a stairway going down into a circular room entirely filled with lava except for a small circular platform in the middle with a gear on it. There is a very narrow metal beam going from the platform to the stairs, a wide bridge thing jutting out from the platform toward the room's wall at the other end, and there is a door in the middle of the left wall of the circular room.
Since Phil isn't there to balance across the narrow beam, the party bums Arzel into going across since she's pretty much a cat too. She gets halfway across, falls, catches herself of the beam, falls, catches herself again, but eventually gets across. She turns the gear on the platform. The wide bridge rotates toward the stairs where the rest of the party is and the party crosses to the center platform. Arzel then turns the wide bridge toward the door. The party proceeds through the door.
They come onto a ledge 3 ft above a very long room with large stone bricks falling from the ceiling and 4 groups of 2 angel demon monkeys flying around the room! Sshoobedabooey uses stage lights to see across to the end of the room. There is a very large hole in the floor at the room's end. He then casts a dazzling special effects! spell and blinds all the demon angel monkeys.
The party then makes a mad dash to the hole in the far end of the room, trying to evade getting squished by falling blocks. Only Vixen gets hit. Everyone gets through the hole, and then Vixen gets hit again by a block that fell through the hole because Cows was annoying most of the other players with plastic soda bottles XD. I personally found it amusing, but I had to do something since the others weren't as used to Cows' antics.
The party is on a 20x20 platform in a semi-longish room about 20 ft wide and 80ft long. There is a drop to a small dark area behind them and an torch-lit area ahead of them. There are stairs from their platform leading down into the torch-lit area. There are columns lining the area's sides and bones litter the floor. There are more angel demon monkeys swarming around. At the far end of the room is a set of stairs leading to a large closed stone door with a metal orb thing on it resembling a shut eye.
One of the angel demon monkeys stabs Arzel with a viciously sharp lolipop, but isn't hurt badly. Sshoobedabooy blinds all the angel demon monkeys except the one that attacked Arzel. Arzel fries it with a spark spell (she didn't cast fire because she knows that most demons are immune to fire). Sshoobedabooy uses stage lights to see what's in the dark area beneath the ledge behind the party. He finds the skeletal remains of a priest-looking dude on a small platform surrounded by spikes. He jumps down, grabs 2 glowy-yellow potions, a blue potion with a feather floating in it, and a bag of coins. He gets back up onto the 20x20 platform, and the party goes down the stairs into the area with bones all over the floor. They get to the base of the stairs when BAM! An angel demon monkey gorilla crashes in through the ceiling at the top of the stairs. A bunch of unarmed boulder warriors land beside him. The angel demon monkey gorilla throws a bunch of boulder warriors at the party, one hits Sshoobedabooey. Arzel blasts the ape with a spark spell, Cutey flies up and bites him, and Vixen finishes it off with a smite evil attack (it works because the angel demon gorilla is both good and evil at the same time!). The ape collapses and poofs into a cloud of sulfuric and incense-smelling smoke (it smells both bad and good at the same time!).

Session 6: Sshoobedabooy goes up to the metal eye thing at the top of the door and pokes it. The eye opens and starts counting down from 3. Sshoobedabooy realizes he should probably run. He is right because the eye reaches 0 and blows up the door, revealing the next room. The party peers into the next room, a dark square chamber about 30 x 30 ft. Spikes line the left and right walls and bones litter the floor. They also notice a rope hanging from the ceiling about 50 ft up. Phil makes a running leap into the room to try to grab hold of the rope. He misses by about 30 ft. A grate door seals the entrance of the room, separating Phil from the rest of the party. The spiked walls begin to close in. Phil escapes his predicament by jumping from spike to spike on the walls until he reaches the rope. It works, but as he pulls the rope down, he loses his grip and falls through the floor into a hidden room below. Then the crushing walls above stop and the bone-laden floor above collapses ontop of him. The grate door opens and the rest of the party jumps through the big hole in the floor to the room below. About 50 ft ahead is a wall with a ledge about 30 ft up. Cutey grabs Sshoobedabooy (since lawn gnomes are short and don't weigh much) and manages to carry him to the top. Phil manages to claw his way quickly up the wall. Vixen tries to imitate Phil, but fails. She falls on her bum. Arzel gets an idea and uses a grow person spell on herself. She enlarges to 15 ft in height and begins rolling the bones on the ground into a large ball. Eventually, she rolls up enough skeletons, angel demon monkeys, trees, and skyscrapers to make a ball big enough for her and Vixen to climb up and get to the ledge above. Once they get to the top, the party finds a door leading into the next part of the dungeon. Through the door they come into a really long passageway about 30 ft wide. They are on a ledge 20ft above a long pool of lava. There are column platforms about 10ft in diameter spaced 10 ft apart reaching about half way down the lava pool. On the ledge at the other end in a column with another metal eye thing on it with 2 angel demon apes at its side. Sshoobedabooy casts laser lute upon his stringed instrument and fires a laser at the eye. It explodes and causes the pillar to drop down, crash into the other columns protruding from the lava pool, and forms a bridge of pillars across. It is then revealed that there was a large pile of boulder warriors hidden behind the pillar. The angel demon gorillas each pick one up, ready to chuck them at the approaching adventurers. The adventurers balance their way across, avoiding the boulder warriors now flying above their heads. Phil, Arzel, and Cutey get across and prepare to confront the angel demon gorillas up close-like. Vixen and Sshoobedabooy scale the rest of the way up the next turn. Summary of the battle: The party has a hard time getting past the apes' diabolic/holy defense-ness and barely does much damage with most attacks. Arzel (whose still 15 ft tall) grapples one of the apes and chucks him into the lava below, taking 300 lava desu!!! I forget who landed the final hit on the other one. Just about everyone took a bit of damage. Vixen had to do a lot of healing. The party continues down the passage and comes to a ledge overlooking a large 50 x 50 feet square room. There is a 25x25 square platform in the middle surrounded by spikes on all sides except for a walkway leading into a narrow, low-ceilinged passage. The party jumps down into the room and angel demon monkeys start pouring out of holes in the walls like crazy. The party runs into the narrow passage to escape. They reach a dead end in a 25x25 ft room. Sshoobedabooy notices a 20x20 square area in the ceiling with another metal eye in the center. The attacks it and the timer on the eye bomb starts counting down. Demon angel monkeys start pouring into the room. Arzel, a bunch of newts (the flaming elemental kind) summoned by Vixen / befriended by Sshoobedabooy, and Sshoobedabooy keep the flying demon monkeys at bay until the ceiling explodes. A large blocky metal thing with a big eye on it falls from the exploded ceiling and through the floor, leaving a 20x20 hole. The party jumps down it. They fall into a 30x30 room with a small coordidor leading to a door with red light coming from beyond it. However, Sshoobedabooy notices a hidden ledge behind the party with a golden glow coming from beyond it. He tries to climb up, but fails. Thankfully, Arzel jumps up and grabs his hand the second time he tries to get up. Phil sneaks into the room. They go up a short staircase and come into a square room filled with treasure!!! Phil uses his grab booty spell to take it all before everyone else. The party leaves behind the 4 statues in the room depicting an ape, a lizard alien, a crocodile, and a Japanese doctor each with a demonic-looking crown on their heads. (I will give a cookie to anyone who can identify what this dungeon is a pardody of) The party leaves the treasure room and goes down the small passage to the door. They find themsleves on a wide ledge in a very large volcanic chamber. There is a lake of lava at least 50 ft below them. A stairway to their left leads to another ledge with a ghostly dog sitting in the middle of it. Beyond that ledge is a stairway leading to a ledge with a door. The party goes up to where the dog is. It speaks... "Please kill my mustard. That is the only way Cheeseman can be freed...the only way to avoid a repetition of this tragedy. My master's name is Balldy. His magic powers have gone wild, and now he cannot even die..." The ghost dog then vanishes. The party goes up the flight of steps to the door. They enter a very large circular altar-looking chamber. Bones litter the floor and a really fat black guy in evil priest robes stands at the altar. He introduces himself as Balldy One of his eyes is white, the other is red. He looks pretty much like this: Balldy begins making a monologue about how his magical powers had gone wild and destroyed everything that he loved. His kingdom, his children, his wife, his mint-in-box tiny plastic Boris action figure... Before he gets to the part where the party must destroy him or else he will destroy them, Vixen finds a switch in the room labeled "Volcano power supply". She flips the switch. The volcano stops erupting, the ground stops shaking, and a large boulder falls on Balldy. Rejoicing ensues, but not for very long... The flash of magical energy beneath the boulder causes it to implode and a magic vortex erupts into existance. The party is sucked in, along with a few bits of treasure in the room.
